The M-RX is a fast and flexible drilling and milling centre for double-sided glass processing – now with the option of an integrated waterjet head. A 10-slot tool change head is fitted at the front and rear. The glass is fixed to the rear during processing using vacuum belts. The system impresses with rapid cycle times and can be installed as a stand-alone machine or in a processing line.
The system consists of a pre-assembled and torsion-free base body, including the main axes and control cabinet.
Two extension modules are included in the scope of delivery. The standard system length is approx. 6200 mm. The system running direction can be configured at the customer's request.
The Y-axis (lifting axis) is driven by recirculating ball screws and the machine is equipped with automatic central lubrication. Particularly advantageous with the system are the dynamic vacuum belts, which are mounted in two rows on the right and left in the basic machine. Thanks to the very high holding force, drilling, countersinking, milling, grinding and polishing operations for internal machining can be carried out at any point on the sheet without restriction.
The following are included in the M-RX scope of delivery as standard:
The M-RX can now also be optionally equipped with an integrated waterjet head, which further increases flexibility and improves cycle times.
The M-RX machine is a fully digital, vertical CNC machine for drilling and countersinking on both sides, but also for milling and grinding cut-outs in flat glass.
Programs can be created directly on the machine at any time or imported from a drawing program or data interface.
The system enables all desired processing operations in sequence by position in the running direction. This increases the cycle time, while subsequent glass lites sheets can be loaded during processing.
The position and thickness of the glass sheet is measured at the inlet. Shapes are also possible, provided a straight edge is available. The sheet moves in the running direction to the processing heads, which perform the desired processing operations. Thanks to the rapid tool revolver at the front and rear, drilling and countersinking can be carried out extremely quickly and without loosening the clamping plates. Milling and cut-outs are possible at any point on the sheet and are not limited in size – the breaking points provide manual support for large cut-outs.
The M-RX G7 series is ideal for every modern glass processing company. Thanks to the different processing heights and the variable extension modules, the machine can be optimally adapted to the conditions and requirements on site.
The vertical design and very compact construction allow the G7 machines to be installed in confined spaces. The side maintenance access points ensure that the stand-alone machine can be mounted directly against a wall.
When the M-RX G7 is installed as a stand-alone machine, fully ground glass lites sheets can be set up and processed extremely quickly. At any time if required, however, the M-RX can be combined with a GLX grinding machine and also supplemented with a topCLEAR washing machine or a third-party product.
The M-RX is a very fast, versatile system for drilling and countersinking. Deep countersinks are performed in a precision mode and torque monitoring is also activated.
Cut-outs can be made at any point on the sheet without restrictions. If cut-outs are very large, there is a process for using breaking points so that the operator can remove the cut-outs. The machine then continues the program sequence automatically.
The total of 24 specially controlled vacuum chambers ensure that the glass is held firmly in place. Existing cut-outs are identified and the respective chamber is deactivated. Shapes and coated glass lites sheets can also be processed.
