SYSTEMA glass storage shelves are designed to provide space-saving and safe storage of glass sheets. The space-saving potential compared to normal A-frames is usually higher than 50%.

The elements are normally moved using motors, however manual operation using a hand crank is also possible. The speed is electronically controlled and the machine is fitted as standard with soft-start and controlled braking delay functions. Transportation protection is therefore not required for the glass.

The clearance for operating the open element can be selected and usually lies between 700 and 1200mm..

The customer can select the number of storage elements (and associated support area). At least 10 compartments should be used to facilitate efficient storage and operation..

Operation is very simple. SYSTEMA storage shelves are open on all 3 sides to permit side/top-loading. The element to be opened is selected using a hand lever – and for automatic systems – direct via the operating screen.

Very little space is required. SYSTEMA storage shelves do not require any clearance at the front and rear to pull out compartments or guide rails. The overall length can be calculated using the following table:

1. Use the hand lever to select the required element
2. Operate the buttons at the left and right ends of the machine
3. The machine fully closes and automatically opens the required element
